St. Peter the Apostle Church is located in the south west corner of the Diocese of Lafayette. We are a Catholic community centered upon Our Lord Jesus Christ with the mission of helping the people of Gueydan to come to know Him. He is the center of our lives, so we humbly respond to him with love, worship and adoration. In the gift of the Holy Eucharist we recognize the real and abiding presence of Our Lord, who gives us his Father’s love and mercy.

If you live in our area or if you have been away from the Sacraments, or if you are just curious about the Catholic faith, you are always welcome at St. Peter’s. We are very blessed to have excellent staff and volunteers dedicated to proclaiming the truth about God and the world.
